Data Governance &
Privacy Protocols
Last Updated: March 17, 2026. This document outlines how Kyoto Cloud Analytics manages, protects, and utilizes information within our cloud analytics infrastructure.
The Kyoto Standard
In the "Cloud Lab," data is not just an asset; it is a responsibility. Our approach to cloud analytics is built on the principle of minimal viable collection.
Information Acquisition
We collect information that you provide directly to us through our consultation forms, project inquiry portals, or direct correspondence. This includes your name, business email address, phone number, and architectural requirements for your proposed data infrastructure.
When you navigate KyotoCloudAnalytics.digital, our systems capture technical telemetry: IP addresses, browser specifications, and interaction patterns. This metadata allows us to optimize the laboratory environment for all users.
Deployment of Analytics
The primary driver for data use is the delivery of professional cloud analytics services. We use your details to:
- Scale and customize data platform architectures specific to your organization.
- Execute technical support and maintenance for established reporting solutions.
- Communicate updates regarding your infrastructure's health and performance.
- Analyze site traffic to refine our digital presence and service offerings.
Residency and Protection
Data is housed in secure, encrypted environments within Tier 1 cloud providers. We implement enterprise-grade security controls to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
Information is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill our service obligations or as required by Japanese legal standards. Once the retention window expires, data is purged using forensic-level deletion protocols.
Operational Disclosures
Regardless of your location, we honor fundamental data rights. You have the right to request access to your personal information, demand corrections to any inaccuracies, or request the total deletion of your profile from our systems.
To exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at info@kyotocloudanalytics.digital. We respond to all verified requests within 30 days.
Kyoto Cloud Analytics does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Sharing is limited to essential sub-processors, such as cloud hosting providers and secure communication platforms, solely to facilitate our core cloud analytics services.
We may disclose information if mandated by law, or to protect the safety and integrity of our data infrastructure.
As an international consultancy, your information may be processed in Japan or other jurisdictions where our cloud infrastructure components are located. We ensure that such transfers are governed by standard contractual clauses or similar legal protections.
Privacy Inquiries
If you have questions regarding our data handling practices or wish to file a formal request concerning your personal information, our administrative team in Kyoto is available to assist.
